Ganesh idol immersion: Kangra admin advises devotees to use designated sites

Kangra, Sep 18 (UNI) The Kangra sub-divisional administration has issued a public advisory for the immersion of Ganesh idols, urging devotees, festival committees and organisers to prioritise public safety, discipline and environmental protection. SDM Kangra Dr Anjali Garg appealed to devotees and festival committees to immerse idols only at designated and identified sites. Mini Haridwar and Ban Ganga have been earmarked as designated immersion points, and devotees have been advised to use the nearest authorised site and avoid unauthorised rivulets and water sources.
