Rohtak admin urges vehicle owners to register under Parivartan Scheme

Rohtak Oct 22 (UNI) The Rohtak administration has urged owners of identified old commercial vehicles to register under the Parivartan scheme and announced a November schedule for pensioners to submit their annual life certificates. An official spokesman, quoting Deputy Commissioner Satbir Singh, said more than 30,000 vehicle owners across the National Capital Region (NCR) had registered under the scheme. In Rohtak, 922 identified vehicles had been registered, while owners of the remaining 3,378 vehicles were urged to enrol. The Parivartan scheme encourages the replacement of older commercial trucks and buses with cleaner BS-VI or electric vehicles to curb air pollution.…
