Panchkula orders crackdown on overloaded dumpers, unsafe school buses

Panchkula, Sep 29 (UNI) The Panchkula administration on Tuesday ordered a crackdown on overloaded dumpers, vehicles with dust-obscured number plates and school buses violating safety norms, with Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma directing enforcement agencies to intensify challans and impound offending vehicles. Chairing a meeting of the District Road Safety Committee and the Safe School Vehicle Policy, Sharma directed the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) to take strict action against overloaded dumpers and those plying with registration plates obscured by dust and mud.
