MWB gives Rs 10 lakh aid to late journalist's son, Rs 40,000 to the Yamunanagar scribe

Panchkula, Sept 18 (UNI) Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij on Friday handed over Rs 10 lakh financial assistance to Ankush Jain, son of late Chandigarh journalist Rajesh Jain, and Rs 40,000 to Yamunanagar journalist Gulab Singh under a Media Wellbeing Association (MWB) initiative. The assistance was presented at Ambala Cantonment. Vij said journalists often work in challenging circumstances, and providing financial security to them and their families in times of crisis was important.
