Haryana circulates legal assistance rules for serving, retired All India Service officers

Panchkula, Oct 6 (UNI) The Haryana government has circulated to All India Service officers instructions governing legal and financial assistance in cases arising from official duties, including provisions applicable to retired members of the services. The Personnel Department, Haryana Chief Secretary's Office, in a communication dated September 30, 2026, forwarded the instructions received from the Government of India's Department of Personnel and Training to all IAS officers in the state. The communication also directs that the instructions be circulated to IPS and Indian Forest Service officers in their respective departments.
