Gurugram: GMDA plans major MG Road overhaul; safer crossings, parking and congestion relief in focus

Gurugram, Sep 28 (UNI) Pedestrians struggling with encroached footpaths, unsafe road crossings and inadequate facilities along Gurugram's busy MG Road could see improvements, with the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) proposing a series of interventions ranging from dedicated crossings and two-wheeler parking to a foot overbridge and possible grade-separated infrastructure at Sikandarpur. GMDA Chief Executive Officer P.C. Meena inspected MG Road on Monday along with officials and representatives of resident welfare associations of housing societies along the corridor.
