Hamirpur: Under-construction bridge collapses, one worker dead, five injured

Hamirpur (HP), Oct 2 (UNI) A major accident occurred on Friday in Hamirpur district when an under-construction bridge over the Hathli Khad (ravine) suddenly collapsed, killing one worker, while five others were seriously injured. Six workers were engaged in construction work on the bridge, situated between Cheel Vahal and Masiyana, when it fell approximately 100 feet into the ravine below. One worker died on the spot, while five others sustained serious injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at Hamirpur Medical College.
