Delhi to roll out 150 E-buses next month as city expands depots, charging infra

New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) Delhi will add 150 new electric buses (e-bus) to its public transport fleet next month, Transport Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said on Monday after reviewing preparations with officials of the Transport Department. The buses will be deployed as the government works on expanding depot and charging infrastructure to support the growing electric bus fleet in the city. "The Delhi government is developing bus depots and charging infrastructure in a coordinated manner, with every site closely monitored, so that new electric buses can be deployed without delay," Singh said.
