ECI extends SIR deadlines in Delhi, Maharashtra; final rolls to be published in November and December

New Delhi, Sep 26 (UNI) The Election Commission of India on Saturday extended the timeline for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Delhi and Maharashtra, giving voters additional time to file claims and objections and postponing the final publication of the revised electoral rolls in both jurisdictions. Under the revised schedule, voters in Delhi can now file claims and objections until October 30, while those in Maharashtra have time until October 12.
