Collection centres being set up for dignified disposal of religious material & idols: Delhi CM

New Delhi, Sept 22 (UNI) Linking religious faith with cleanliness and environmental protection, the Delhi Government, has launched a comprehensive initiative in the city, with 'collection centres' being set up at 110 identified locations for the dignified disposal of old and damaged religious idols and puja material, following various rituals amid festivities. Along with this arrangement, preparations have been completed for artificial immersion ponds at 81 identified locations across the national capital for lord Ganesh idol's immersion.
