Almost half of French faced personal data leakage over past year: Poll

Moscow, Sept 16 (Sputnik/UNI) Forty-five per cent of French people have received a notification regarding a leakage of their personal data in the last 12 months, the BFMTV broadcaster reported, citing a study by the government platform Cybermalveillance. This figure rose from 15% to 30% during the 2024-2025 period before reaching the current 45%, the report said on Tuesday. The authors of the report warn that this trend is likely to continue in the coming months.
