Rashmika Mandanna to portray M.S. Subbulakshmi in upcoming biopic

Chennai, Sep 17 (UNI) The life of legendary Carnatic vocalist and Bharat Ratna recipient M.S. Subbulakshmi is being adapted for the big screen, with Rashmika Mandanna set to portray the celebrated singer. Actor Kamal Haasan launched the film and gave the clap for the first scene along with Mandanna. The 30-year-old actress will play the role of M.S. Subbulakshmi in the film.
