'Angh' director accorded warm reception at Delhi airport

Dimapur, Sep 23 (UNI) After making Nagaland and the country proud by winning the prestigious Platform Competition for his film Angh at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2026, the director of the film, Theja Rio, landed in New Delhi from Toronto on Wednesday. He was accorded a warm reception by the Angami Krotho Delhi and well-wishers upon his return from Toronto at Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport. Angh, the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Rio, is the only Indian film selected for TIFF's Platform Competition this year.
