Bengal CM names two elephants Chaitanya and Sulakshana at Jaldapara

Siliguri, Sep 22 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday named two elephants at Jaldapara after attending the World Rhino Day programme in Alipurduar.
The two calves were named Chaitanya and Sulakshana. Speaking to journalists, Adhikari said the names were chosen after discussing several options with forest officials and keeping in mind the names of their parents.

"Following the tradition, one elephant calf has been named Chaitanya and the other Sulakshana," he said.
