Haryana sends 78 senior teachers back to junior posts to clear decks for Headmaster promotions

Panchkula, Sep 22 (UNI) In a sweeping administrative reordering, the Haryana School Education Department has directed 78 Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) across multiple subjects to revert to their original Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) or C&V posts, clearing the deck for their promotion to Headmaster and Elementary School Headmaster positions. The four-page order, issued on September 14, 2026, and signed by Principal Secretary Vijay Singh Dahiya, affects teachers currently posted in Fatehabad, Mahendragarh, Jind, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, Sirsa, Panipat, Hisar, Ambala, Rohtak, Faridabad, Panchkula, and Nuh.
