KMC on high alert as deep depression threatens heavy rain, waterlogging in Kolkata

Kolkata, Sep 22 (UNI) With heavy showers expected under the impact of a brewing deep depression over the next two days, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) is on high alert and gearing up to tackle possible inundation across the city. According to sources in the civic body, the KMC has undertaken a host of measures as part of its preparations to deal with heavy rain and waterlogging.
