Cyclone Murasu: South Odisha coast on alert as winds may reach 70 kmph

Bhubaneswar, Nov 2 (UNI) With severe cyclonic storm Murasu moving towards the south Andhra Pradesh coast, south Odisha is likely to experience strong winds and rough sea conditions over the next two days, the Bhubaneswar Regional Centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned on Monday. Squally winds reaching 40-50 kmph, with gusts up to 60 kmph, are likely along the south Odisha coast and adjoining areas from Monday morning.
