AIIMS Patna performs its first bone conduction implant surgery under RBSK Scheme

Patna, Nov 2 (UNI) The Department of ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, achieved a significant milestone by successfully performing its first ever Bone Conduction Implant surgery. According to a release of Patna AIIMS, the procedure was performed on October 30 on a young child born with bilateral anotia, a rare congenital condition in which both external ears are absent from birth.
