Odisha: Seven central range districts on alert ahead of Cyclone Arnab

Bhubaneswar, Oct 27 (UNI) Odisha Police have placed seven districts under its Central Range on high alert ahead of Cyclone Arnab, with forecasts of heavy rain, strong winds and waterlogging. The districts are Cuttack Rural, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Khordha, Nayagarh and Puri. Central Range IG Dr Satyajit Naik has directed all district Superintendents of Police to take preventive measures in coordination with district administrations, ODRAF, Fire Services, OSDMA and other emergency agencies.
