Kolkata to get significantly reduced rainfall for the next seven days

Kolkata, Sep 25 (UNI) Kolkata and other districts of South Bengal are predicted to receive reduced rainfall from Saturday as the depression has lost intensity over the past few hours. According to weather scientists, the depression over south Odisha and adjoining south Chhattisgarh moved north-northwestwards at a speed of 15 kmph on Friday and reached south Chhattisgarh and adjoining south interior Odisha. The system lay centred close to north-northwest of Nuapada in Odisha, about 80 km east-southeast of Raipur and 130 km south-southwest of Champa in Chhattisgarh, and 140 km south of Bilaspur.
