ECoR intensifies restoration works at landslide-hit Maligura

Bhubaneswar, Sep 29 (UNI) East Coast Railway (ECoR) has intensified restoration and safety works on a war footing in Rayagada Division following heavy rainfall triggered by a deep depression, which caused landslides, soil slips and waterlogging at several locations. ECoR General Manager Parameshwar Funkwal on Monday reviewed the restoration activities at Maligura, one of the major affected locations in the Koraput-Jeypore section. He inspected the affected stretches and took stock of the progress of restoration and safety works being undertaken at the site.
