New political party PRP launched in Manipur, vows 'local solutions' ahead of 2027 polls

Imphal, Sep 24 (UNI) A new political outfit, the People's Reformation Party (PRP), was formally launched here on Thursday, with the party announcing plans to contest the 2027 Manipur Assembly elections with a focus on what it described as "local solutions". Addressing a press conference at Sangai Hall, Hotel Imphal, North AOC, PRP president Andy Mangsatabam said the party has been formed to provide a "genuinely local political solution" to the issues facing the state.
