New political party formed in Manipur

Imphal, Sep 16 (UNI) Manipur Indigenous Alliance (MIA), a new political party, was formally launched at Meitram on Wednesday. Soraisam Surendra Singh, President, Manipur Indigenous Alliance (MIA) said the party was formed in response to the present situation in Manipur and the growing need for the Indigenous communities to come together to protect their land, heritage, identity, institutions, livelihoods and future.
