Bihar Govt to provide financial assistance to disaster affected fish farmers

Patna, Sep 16 (UNI) The Bihar government has announced financial assistance for fisherfolk and fish farmers affected by disasters during the financial year 2026-27, with support to be provided for damaged boats and fishing nets, fish feed and restoration of fish farms. Sources at the Department of Dairy, Fisheries and Animal Resources said here on Wednesday the assistance would be provided under three categories to help disaster-affected fish farmers recover their livelihoods.
