Ranchi, Oct 29 (UNI) The BJP on Thursday criticised the Jharkhand government's decision to impose an additional 10 per cent surcharge on the registration of land and buildings, alleging that the move would increase the financial burden on poor and middle-class families. BJP state spokesperson Sandeep Verma termed the cabinet decision anti-people and urged the government to withdraw it immediately, saying the additional charge would make it more difficult for families to fulfil their dream of owning a house or land.
