Ram Bachan Rai takes charge as acting Chairman of Bihar Legislative Council

Patna, Sept 28 (UNI) Amid changing political equations in Bihar, Legislative Council Chairman Avadhesh Narayan Singh resigned from his post on Monday following which Deputy Chairman Dr Ram Bachan Rai assumed charge as the Acting Chairman of the Upper House. Singh submitted his resignation to Rai, who accepted it. Soon after taking charge, Rai thanked the Janata Dal (United) leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility.
