Bihar: Nitish Kumar donates one month's salary to flood relief fund

Patna, Sep 24 (UNI) Janata Dal (United) national president and former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday donated his one month's salary to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for assistance to flood-affected people in the state. Kumar handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary here during the day. The former chief minister said he had always maintained that disaster-affected people should have the first right over the state exchequer.
