Bihar Govt must expedite relief, rescue work for flood victims: CPI(ML)

Patna, Sep 16 (UNI) CPI(ML) MP from Ara Sudama Prasad Wednesday urged the Bihar government to expedite relief and rescue operations for people affected by floods and provide compensation for the losses suffered. Addressing a press conference here, Prasad said nearly 50 lakh people in 15 districts of Bihar had been affected by the floods. He demanded that district- and block-wise official figures of flood-related deaths be made public.
