Over 30,000 senior citizens to undertake free Puri pilgrimage under Shree Jagannath Darshan Yojana'

Bhubaneswar, Sep 21 (UNI) Odisha government will facilitate free pilgrimage to Puri for 30,000 senior citizens from across the state during the current year under the 'Shree Jagannath Darshan Yojana', with 10,434 beneficiaries from 13 districts scheduled to visit the pilgrim city between September 20 and October 26. The first pilgrimage under the scheme for 2026-27 was flagged off on Sunday, with 910 senior citizens from Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur districts embarking on their journey to Puri for darshan of the Holy Trinity at the Shree Jagannath Temple.
