Vedanta's Rs 1 lakh crore investment to position Odisha as India's aluminium hub: Anil Agarwal

Bhubaneswar, Sep 26 (UNI) Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal on Saturday said the company's proposed investment of Rs 1 lakh crore in Odisha, including a 3 million tonne per annum (MTPA) aluminium smelter and a 6 MTPA alumina refinery, has the potential to transform the state into India's aluminium hub. Agarwal made the remarks after meeting Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan here to review the progress of Vedanta's proposed investments in the state.
