Jharkhand: PMLA court directs Hemant Soren to appear on Sep 21

Ranchi, Sep 19 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has been directed to appear before the PMLA special court here on September 21 in connection with the Badgai land case, with the court allowing him to appear virtually. The court fixed September 21 as the next date after Soren's counsel expressed inability to appear on Saturday, citing the Chief Minister's official engagements. The court has directed him to appear by 4 pm, when arguments on framing of charges are scheduled, according to advocate Avinash Pandey.
