"Let Milan Pradhan contest the election," says Calcutta High Court

Kolkata, Sep 24 (UNI) Nandigram Congress candidate Milan Pradhan, who was arrested in connection with an old case ahead of the by-election, received relief from the Calcutta High Court on Thursday. Hearing his bail plea, Justice Tirthankar Ghosh observed, "Let Milan Pradhan contest the election." In his preliminary observation, the judge said, "I am granting interim bail. Let him participate in the election. The rest will depend on the fate of the case." The court will hear the matter again at 4 pm on Friday.
