Sikkim: After tunnel tragedy that claimed 25 lives, NHPC Director reviews Teesta-VI progress

Gangtok, Sep 24 (UNI) Director (Projects), National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), Sanjay Kumar Singh on Thursday visited the Teesta-VI Project to review its progress, preparedness for flushing accumulated toxic gases from HRT Faces 4A and 4B, and the subsequent resumption of work. He reviewed the preparedness for flushing the gases with NHPC officials and representatives of M/s Patel Engineering and stressed that the operation must be carried out with all necessary safety measures in place.
