RSP commissions AI-based safety surveillance system at Hot Strip Mill-2

Bhubaneswar, Sep 26 (UNI) Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has commissioned an artificial intelligence-based digital safety surveillance system at its Hot Strip Mill-2 (HSM-2), strengthening technology-enabled and proactive workplace safety measures. Developed and commissioned through the in-house efforts of RSP's Digital Transformation Team in collaboration with HSM-2 and the Safety Engineering Department (SED), the system uses 10 IP cameras to provide continuous surveillance of the operational area.
