Mother and son electrocuted in Saran

Chhapra, Sept 24 (UNI) A woman and her 11-year-old son died after coming into contact with a live electric wire in the Derani police station area of Saran district. Police said here on Thursday that Rinku Devi (36), wife of Satya Prakash Singh and a resident of Khajauli village, was walking to the fields with her son Rahul Kumar (11) when they came into contact with a severed electric wire being used to power a water pump.
