Jharkhand calls for community-led campaign against drug abuse

Ranchi, Oct 13 (UNI) Jharkhand has called for a community-led campaign against drug abuse, focusing on prevention, behavioural change and coordinated action by government departments, educational institutions and local communities. Umashankar Singh, secretary of the School Education and Literacy Department and the Women, Child Development and Social Security Department, said drug abuse was not merely a law-and-order issue but a serious challenge affecting young people, families and society.
