Boat race festival, Heikru Hidongba celebrated in Manipur

Imphal, Sep 22 (UNI) Heikru Hidongba a boat race festival was celebrated at Shri Shri Bijoy Govindaji Thangapat here on Tuesday. Hundreds of people including Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, attended the 248th Heikru Hidongba festival. The Governor, accompanied by the First Lady, Jyoti Bhalla, witnessed the boat race and the traditional rituals and proceedings associated with the occasion.
