MRUTTIKA-2026: Odisha reaffirms commitment to empowering terracotta ,pottery artisans

Bhubaneswar, Oct 31 (UNI) The Odisha government has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the growth and economic prosperity of artisans engaged in terracotta and pottery crafts, Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Minister Pradip Bal Samanta said on Saturday. Inaugurating the six-day annual state-level terracotta and pottery exhibition, 'MRUTTIKA-2026', the Minister said terracotta and pottery were integral to Odisha's rich cultural heritage and traditional handicraft legacy. He emphasised the need to provide artisans with greater opportunities to showcase their skills, expand their businesses and improve their livelihoods.
