Mizoram among best states for women: Gauhati HC judge

Aizawl, Oct 6 (UNI) Mizoram is among the states in India where women enjoy the best status, Justice Helen Dawngliani, Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court, said on Tuesday, while stressing that there was still considerable scope for further improvement. She was speaking at a sensitisation programme on women-centric laws organised jointly by the Mizoram State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) and the All Mizoram Women Federation (AMWF) at the I&PR Conference Hall at Lianchhiari Run, Aizawl.
