Manipur University, CSIR-NGRI conclude five-day training on seismic hazard

Imphal, Oct 16 (UNI) A five-day training programme on "Seismic Hazard," jointly organised by the CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), Hyderabad, and the Department of Earth Sciences, Manipur University, under the CSIR-Integrated Skill Initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, concluded at Manipur University, Canchipur, on Friday. Held from October 12 to 16, the programme aimed to strengthen scientific knowledge, technical skills and research capacity in earthquake studies and seismic hazard assessment, particularly in Northeast India.
