Ecology, economy go together: union minister Bhupender Yadav

Siliguri, Oct 2 (UNI) union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav today stressed the need to balance ecology and economy while developing Buxa Tiger Reserve, saying conservation must also create livelihood opportunities for local communities. Speaking at an interactive session with reporters at the Circuit House, Yadav said the proposed shifting of villagers from the core area of Buxa would not be forced.
