Jharkhand: CCL launches e-waste management campaign

Ranchi, Oct 6 (UNI) Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL) on Tuesday launched an e-waste management campaign at its headquarters here under Special Campaign 6.0, focusing on collection, segregation and scientific disposal of electronic waste. CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh inaugurated the campaign at the e-waste collection centre at Gangotri Convention Centre by disposing of electronic waste. Directors and senior officials of the company also participated in the initiative by depositing electronic waste at the collection centre. The campaign seeks to promote awareness about proper collection, segregation and scientific disposal of e-waste and encourage responsible waste management among employees, the company said.…
