Odisha SIR: BJD alleges over 27 lakh 'eligible' voters left out of electoral roll

Bhubaneswar, Sep 22 (UNI) A day after Odisha's final electoral roll for 2026 was published; the Opposition BJD on Tuesday alleged that more than 27.5 lakh voters were systematically excluded during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), accusing the state election machinery of manipulating the exercise and compromising transparency.
