AIIMS proposed at Raiganj, cancer care hospital for Jalpaiguri: Bengal CM Adhikari

Siliguri, Oct 29 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday announced plans to set up an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Dwipnagar, near Panishala in Raiganj, saying the state government would send a proposal to the Centre for the establishment of the premier medical institution. The announcement comes amid a long-standing demand for an AIIMS in Raiganj and Uttar Dinajpur district.
