Free power for all ICDS centres, permanent buildings for rented anganwadi centres: Bengal CM

Kolkata, Sep 28 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Monday announced a major infrastructure overhaul of anganwadi centres across the state, promising free electricity to all Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) centres. Addressing the 'Angan Milan Seva' programme at Panihati in North 24-Parganas, Adhikari said the government would take a series of measures to improve the working conditions of anganwadi workers and strengthen facilities for children and mothers.
