AGMC's MD/MS intake capacity increased to 153

Agartala, Nov 7 (UNI) In a major boost to medical education in Tripura, Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) has increased its postgraduate seat capacity from 95 to 153 for the 2026-27 academic session, adding 58 MD/MS seats across 16 specialised disciplines. Announcing the development, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha described the expansion as a significant milestone in strengthening the state's medical education infrastructure and creating more opportunities for aspiring doctors.
