Bomb threat to Patna civil court prompts evacuation

Patna, Sep 18 (UNI) The Patna Civil Court premises were evacuated on Friday following a bomb threat. The court''s Registrar informed the District Bar Association about the threat, following which the entire court complex was vacated as a precautionary measure. The court''s functioning was suspended before the day''s proceedings could begin. Police launched an intensive search of the premises following the threat. The Patna Civil Court has received bomb threats on several occasions in the past.
