NEC pushes for faster completion of Champhai processing units

Aizawl, Oct 15 (UNI) The North Eastern Council (NEC) has called for faster completion of ginger and passion fruit processing facilities in Champhai to ensure they become operational and help farmers gain greater value from their produce. NEC Secretary Satinder Kumar Bhalla inspected the proposed ginger processing hubs at Mualkawi and Zotlang and the passion fruit processing unit during a visit to Champhai on Thursday.
