Tax on commercial activities needed to make panchayats financially strong: Samrat

Patna, Sep 21 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Monday said that new sources of revenue need to be developed at the panchayat level to accelerate village development and make panchayats financially stronger. He suggested creating a system to collect taxes from commercial activities such as brick kilns, schools and colleges operating in rural areas.
