Five arrested with Rs 40 lakh cash in Tripura

Agartala, Sept 21 (UNI) Tripura Police recovered Rs 40 lakh from a Bolero vehicle during a checkpoint inspection at Durga Chowmuhani in Kamalpur, under Dhalai district, last evening and arrested five persons accompanying the money in the vehicle. The police personnel stopped a private Bolero, which was coming from Dharmanagar of North Tripura to Agartala, and recovered the currency. The arrested persons were identified as Muktar Hossain from Teliamura; Jasim Mia from Melaghar; Kabir Mia from Agartala; Liton Mia from Khowai; and Rabindra Das from Teliamura.
